I started my life as a DJ on 7th July 1972 at the ripe old age of 15, yes I am that old, and have DJ’d all over Kent/Sussex and even as far away as Scotland!.

Over the years I have had the pleasure to have supported many well-known bands and acts, including, Level 42, Shakatak, Sade Café, Thompson Twins, The Love Affair, The Merseybeats, Freddie and the Dreamers, Mungo Jerry, The Glitter Band and many many more. Also many Cabaret nights with the likes of Sir Lenny Henry, Jim Davidson, Frankie Vaughan (what do you mean who, google him) and even Bob CarolGees and Spit the dog, and have twice entertained the top golfers in Europe during Open Golf at St Georges in Sandwich.

The highlights have been sharing stages with other famous DJ’s including Steve Walsh, Simon Bates, Dave Lee Travis and John Oliver.

I have always enjoyed all sorts of music (in this game you have too) bearing in mind all the musical fads I have DJ’d through but my first love has always been Disco, Soul and Funk.

I decided to hang up my DJ headphones in 2015 as the late nights and humping very heavy equipment was taking its toll on my mind and body, and was enjoying getting my life back until somebody called John Oliver kept pestering me to join him at DWR. I resisted it for a couple of years but he kept on, so to keep him quiet here I am!!
